So we're all together in Ibiza, on a boat, in the sunshine... what could possibly go wrong?! Try styling hair on a boat, in the heat and the wind - and you only have an hour to do it. This was the contestants first real taste of location session work, and it's the kind of thing I experience on a regular basis.

The shoot for international beauty brand 'St Tropez' was on a beach. This is a typical environment for magazines like 'Sports Illustrated' and campaigns for 'Victoria's Secret', yet it's notoriously difficult for styling hair.

The style is natural hair, which is what I specialise in. Even though it looks simple, getting hair to look that way is a different story. On the shoot it's hot, intense and pressurised - everyone is sweating and uncomfortable, and for the first time we saw Keris go to pieces. Daniel managed to keep his cool and did really well in the challenge

The fun didn't stop as we headed to the next challenge at the island's most glamorous night club Hed Kandi, where 3000 ravers a night let their hair down! The stylists had to style the acrobat and trapeze artist's with creative hairstyles before they went on to perform - and with their performances including a lot of upside down twists and turns, the hair had to look elaborate as much as it had to stay in place.

Alexander shone in this challenge. Unfortunately Zac's lack of experience kept showing through. Although I love him and I can see he has potential, I can't spend any more time on him. It's just not fair on the others.
